NEW YORK, September 16, 2013 – “South Park” received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program last night at the 2012-2013 Creative Arts Primetime Emmy Awards, as awarded by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Five-time Emmy winner “South Park” was awarded the Emmy for the “Raising the Bar” episode. The series has also won the prestigious Peabody® Award for Excellence in Broadcasting.
Named “One of the All-Time Greatest TV Shows” by Entertainment Weekly, COMEDY CENTRAL's "South Park" launched on August 13, 1997.
